The Moomin and his friends – Their adorable looks and words full of humor continue to enchant many fans all over the world.
The Moomin series created by Tove Jansson (1914-2001), a Finnish painter and novelist, are popular in various forms such as novels, picture books, newspaper comic strips, animations and products, etc. This is the definitive exhibition at which you can experience the fascination of its various arts and the profound world of the story via approximately 500 exhibits of Moomin. Works from the world’s only “Moomin Museum” located in Tampere, Finland, and also from the treasured Tove’s personal collection will be exhibited. The year 2019 marks the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Finland.
