Keiko Shiga is a pianist who is a composer supporting numerous movie works and artists based in Kumamoto, and is performing in Japan and abroad. Since visiting Finland for the first time in the winter of 2016, She has been strongly attracted by the beautiful nature and the sense of people living there, and she is performing every year in Finland. This recital commemorates the 100th anniversary of Japan-Finland diplomatic relations establishment, This recital consists of two parts, and the first part will be played mainly on her own works inspired by the nature such as the wind running through the winter land covered with snow and ice, and the white night wrapped in the summer lakeside. The second part will be played Finland’s folk songs on two pianos with a pianist, composer / arranger Yumi Sugimoto. Please feel the scenery of Finland painted through the eyes of a musician.
